What do the chassis codes (W204, W205, W206, and so on) mean?
Mercedes-Benz identifies each generation internally by a chassis code rather than just a model year — the C-Class has gone from W204 to W205 to W206, for example. Spoilers are not interchangeable between generations even when the model name stays the same, so confirm your chassis code before ordering.
Will this fit my AMG trim?
Generally yes — these spoilers are designed around the shared trunk lid for the chassis generation, covering C300 through C43 and C63 AMG on the same chassis. Always check the product page for any trim-specific notes.
Will this fit if my car already has a factory OEM spoiler?
These spoilers are designed to mount to the factory OEM trunk lid. Fitment on aftermarket or carbon fiber replacement trunk lids is not guaranteed.
Do I need to drill anything to install it?
